how to lead, and lessons learned along the way to building a business and developing a networking/mentoring environment.
Attendees had the opportunity to listen to and ask questions of a variety of women who own or manage businesses, from small retail establishments to women who have reached award-winning heights in business operation and recognition. We heard how they grew, what they've learned, how they handle the unexpected and how they propel themselves forward. We also had the opportunity to get suggestions from women as mentors or take advantage of the opportunity to become a mentor yourself.
Thank you for personally inviting my sister Jen and I to ”A Woman’s Business” conference. Attending this event was energizing and refreshing! Ideas and the content of this conference were relevant and informative.
I am excited to take part in the next conference!
I wanted to thank you for such an amazing conference! I gained so much knowledge about having a small business.
Most importantly, I am so glad you picked up the phone the day I called the small business center for advice, you were so kind on the phone and it felt genuine. I was sharing my problems with my State Farm representative and she said "call this person she will help you." Well I went back to my office and dialed your number and you picked up the phone and you shared with me the Women's Conference that was coming up. You said, "You need to come to the conference we are having for women."
Well, I was there because of you. That State Farm agent spoke highly of you and because you helped her get started in her small business, I guess you can say the information was paid forward.
Thanks for having such a passion for helping others and look forward to learning from you over the years. Please keep me informed of any future conferences/classes whatever. I will also would like to be part of a women's networking group.
Small Business Center you rock! AngelMates is gaining more wind under our wings because of you.

Thanks so much for hosting “A Woman's Business" conference. It was very informative and fun. It was nice meeting other women that are in business, sharing ideas of how to help make our business grow.
I would love to meet on a regular basis to discuss and continue to share ideas, dos and don't, etc. Keep me informed.

“I can’t thank you enough for having me. So many came up to me after and told me it was the direction they needed to get moving, and more checked the box on the evaluation form to claim the special SBDC promo package that we offered.

“A Woman’s Business” Conference:
This year, every woman who registered before the deadline received a special “A Woman’s Business” t-shirt to remind them every time they wear it, to appreciate and enjoy their sister entrepreneurs as they learn and grow together.
Fee for this all-day event, which also included lunch, was $40 per person. It provided a great way to help a business start-up or existing business .... and to network with other women to get the same kinds of questions answered that you have!
We touched on topics such as planning, marketing through video, financial concerns, woman-owned business certification, adapting to new challenges,
