Thurmond Building faces Memorial Circle, with Park Avenue to its right side

This is the Thurmond Building -- College of Business -- located on the Rock Hill, SC campus of Winthrop University.  Thurmond is located at the intersection of Park Avenue (right off Cherry Road) and Memorial Circle. The map referenced on this link takes you to 701 Oakland Avenue (the main gate at Winthrop), which is the closest street address for the Thurmond Building.  Follow directions below for easiest access.

How to get to Our Office

If you are coming from out of town, driving from Interstate 77, take the Cherry Road exit. Travel south on Cherry Rd 3.7 miles to Oakland Ave. Turn left onto Oakland Ave. and then turn right at the first intersection, Eden Terrace (Main Campus Entrance). You will see "Winthrop University" in large lettering directly in front of you. At the yield sign, turn to the right. The Thurmond Building is the second building on the right hand side. Our SBDC office is located on the lowest floor, Room 118.

OR, come in Park Avenue off Cherry Rd, and you will come in behind the Thurmond Building, second building on your right side.  There are two designated parking spaces for the SBDC behind Thurmond.
